Oh you're right. Like it was a 'decent' conclusion, but you had a great, low-budget (outside of actor salaries) show that had a lot of story still to tell.

The unaired pilot has a totally different character and actress as willow.

I think the one that actually ran was more or less the same as the rest of the show. Also it had darla and she was hot. Dunno her name but she also played dexters gf for a long while.

Holy shit. I've watched each series at least 10 times and never picked up on it.

Don't get me wrong. I loved Buddy Seasons 1-3 and it is some fantastic TV. The later seasons had a good, impactful episode here and there too.

Just a whole, it's just not as good IMO.

Especially Buffy Seasons 5-7.

I mean everything seems so much bigger in scale. All looming towards a potential showdown with Wolfram + Hart and not just leading to a a big bad showdown at the end of the season (though there were indeed big bads).

Better characters. Better storylines. Better score. Better and bigger sets.

I mean how many damn times were they just walking around Sunnydale with not a single person in sight?
